Christmas in KY - The Seiber's / Waldrop's

The second half of our week in KY was spent with my family.  Which we have far less casual pictures of, simply because my family is not usually in the same place all at the same time.  We spent the first morning at my sisters with her boyfriend and their little girl Kadyn.  Mitchell and I played with her and everyone prepared for our main Christmas gift for my family... FAMILY PICTURES!  I can't remember if/when we had family photo's done last.

After everyone was ready we headed out to Elkton Park.  Jessica, Casey and Kadyn were first, since he had to go to work, and no one else had arrived yet but the 5 of us.

Here are some of their shots!

Next it was Ashley, Barry and Landon's turn.  Landon (their 1 year old) seemed less impressed with the whole adventure but she still got some great shots!

Mitchell and I were next... there are only a few of us, since taking pictures of everyone else was WAY more fun!  And it probably has something to do with our lack of adorable kids, as of right now.

Last, before group shots, was my mom and Mike (her hubby)
Here are a couple of their shots.

Last were the group shots.

My Personal Favorite (which I set up)

Sadly my brother had to work and couldn't make it, but we still love him!  Promise, Brandon!

The next morning Mitchell and I headed back to Jessica's and waited on Ashley and Landon to arrive, while mom worked.

Landon played, and irritated Kadyn...here are some cute pictures I got with my phone.

That night we spent time with the whole family opening presents. Kadyn ended up spending the night with us at moms along with Ashley and Landon!  The next morning Kadyn picked up where she left off playing...with her new baby doll toys.  My grandparents came for a couple of hours to visit and I GOT LANDON TO SLEEP!  I always have such a sense of accomplishment when I get a little one to sleep!  We relaxed for the rest of the day and said our good-bye's on Sunday morning.  What a great trip!

Christmas in KY - The Scott's

The first couple of days spent in KY were with Mitchell's family.  We headed to his sisters to see our neices and nephew when we first arrived into town.  Tradition for us is to bring a "We Are Here" gift for the kids.  Since this has started we have brought home a grill bubble machine, numerous cans of silly string, and this years gift...a Cat In The Hat game.  Which i have to say is pretty funny when played with a 7, 4 and 2 year old.

Noah, Madison, Chloe and I playing Cat In The Hat.

Madison had to slide under the "Trick-a-ma-stick", on her back, with the boat on her belly.

Chloe had to walk backwards, around the "Trick-a-ma-stick" with the rake behind her back.
Noah was in and out of the game from time to time, so no good pictures were caugh of him by my husband.  Probably because my husbands interest in the game was in and out also.
Notice the girls smiles though, we enjoyed it!  Everyone had a good laugh!

We called it a day and headed back to Mitchell's dads to stay.  The next day was spent with this sister and the kiddo's again.  Playing more Cat In The Hat and whatever else would keep their attention for any amount of time. :)  Gotta love them!
That afternoon we headed to his Mamaw's house for Christmas dinner and opening gifts.  Mitchell and I were really excited this year for everyone to open their gifts.  Here are some pictures of the kids with theirs!

They each got a bag of candy, which I'm pretty sure mom and dad appreciated gladly, though nothing was said about it...

Noah got a couple of Toy Story comic books, Mater Tales for the Wii and an outfit.

Madison got Sleeping Beauty on DVD, a Disney Princess Look and Find book, and a matching Disney Sleeping Beauty dress.  Chloe got Tickerbell on DVD, a Tinkerbell Look and Find book, and a matching Tinkerbell dress!  The dresses went over VERY well!

We got Gary (Mitchell's dad)....who can guess?  Mitchell was more excited to get the laughs from his attempt to wrap the gifts...in birthday paper.

Amanda (Mitchell's older sister) got a basket of fabric, buttons, and a sewing book.  Which I still think about and covet occasionally.  Chris (Amanda's husband) received a years subscription to Sports Illustrated.  Aunt Pam got a movie gift basket with Date Night the movie, some snacks along with the most amazing Dove white chocolate candy.  Zeb our cousin got a Guinness Book of World Records book and Perry Jackson and the Olympians : The Lightening Theif on DVD.  Carlene (Mitchell's Mamaw) a hand care set, complete with two hand towels, fancy Christmas cinnamon soap bars, a tube of hand and cuticle lotion, topped off with a Christmas tree ornament.  Wayne (Carlene's husband) got a Johnny Cash book, he is a huge fan, and looked page by page through the whole thing as soon as he opened it.
Last but not least Millie...see below...

Yes, and Itouch!  She loved it!  Who wouldn't!

The rest of our time was spent visiting family, we had dinner at the Catfish House in Springfield, TN so that we could see Brandon, Katie and Phil (Mitchell's cousin, his wife and uncle).  I absolutely love every time we visit with them!

Now off to my visit my family!
